Victory March should begin from Kuppam: YS Jagan

Pedduru: Taking the bull by its horns, YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said the victory march of the Party should being from Kuppam which has a large chuck of BC population and assured that a Bus Yatra would begin from August to cover the areas that his Praja Sankalpa Yatra could not tread through.

Addressing a large gathering that has come from Punganur constituency here on Thursday, he said ‘ Chandrababu Naidu has shifted his constituency from Chandragiri to Kuppam as he thought that he can cheat the BCs easily but this time around our Party will field Charndra Mouli who belongs to BCs and will work for your welfare. I appeal to you to bless him and ensure that the victory march of YSRCP will begin from Kuppam as the BCs have been facing hardships in the TDP regime.

The Navaratnas our Party has announced would cover all sections of the society while BCs and other weaker sections that have been benefitted immensely by the welfare programmes of Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy will get the golden era back with quality education, medicare, housing and social security benefitting the BCs very much.

Introducing the Party candidate for the ensuing assembly elections, he said, ‘Chandrmouli is a BC and a local unlike Chandrababu Naidu who migrated from Chandragiri and has scant concern for BCs. Our candidate is a local and will be here with you and serve you better and I assure him a cabinet berth if our government comes to power with your blessings,’ he said.

It is time to ask Chandrababu Naidu as to what he has done for BC welfare and his tall claims have no basis as no section has benefitted during the Chandrababu term.

When people were not pleased and looked disappointed when the YSRCP Supremo said that he may not come to Kuppam during the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, the Leader of Opposition said, ‘ after the Padayatra is over, I will take up a Bus Yatra from August onwards to cover the areas that were not covered during this mass contact programme. I will make it a point to visit Kuppam and meet as many people as possible. ’

All sections of people were unhappy with the indifference of Chandrababu Naidu who went back on his poll promises and the loan wavier to farmers and DWACRA groups had caused hardship to them and they are unable to recover from the treachery. They were declared defaulters and are unable to get fresh loans and could not do any bank transactions.

Fees reimbursement has been carried out in a shoddy manner and the students are getting one-third of the fees amount belatedly and Aarogyasri has been systematically watered down, he said adding that the Navaratnas will address all issues.
