Uddanam Kidney Patients Are Suffering More

Srikakulam: YSR Congress Party senior leader and party High-power committee member Tammineni Sitaram took on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for neglecting the plights of kidney patients in Uddanam village in Srikakulam district.
Addressing the press, the senior leader said Chandrababu made promise that his government will eradicate the chronic disease after Harvard University professors submitted its report. In the reality, no concrete steps were taken towards addressing the issue but the government. The university team neither visited the village not the doctors team was reconstituted.
Out of 1.20 lakh samples collected , more than 10,000 people in the village were suffering from kidney ailment. These patients were not provided any treatment in the village and they were forced to run to the Visakhapatnam hospitals, the YSR Congress leader said Chandrababu was not maintaining minimum human values.
