TRS failed in core promises

Hyderabad, June 2: Telangana YSR Congress has said during the past three years TRS Government has failed to fulfill its core promises even three years after achieving the statehood.

 Speaking to reporters during the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations here on Friday, Telangana Party president Gattu Srikanth Reddy said that though the government pays tributes to the martyrs regularly their families are not given the announced sops.

 The state has gone back on the core promises of jobs, funds and water as it has not provided the quantum of jobs it has promised during the elections.

 When it comes to funds, the government has failed to release funds to the required measure and water and irrigation funds were not released in tune with the need.

 Scams too have surfaced in revenue and other departments and people are looking at YSR as a role model, he said.
