TDP scared of YS Jagan’s Padayatra

Hyderabad : Unable to digest the growing popularity of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra, TDP has been resorting to slanderous campaign with personal remarks and the Chandrababu Naidu government has yet again shown its anti-dalit mask, YSR Congress has said.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, party senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana said, ‘ the attacks on dalits in Visakhapatnam district shows the true colours of TDP and its leadership while it has launched a campaign against our leader on the eve of his birthday as they are scared of the tumultuous response to his mass contact programme.

‘Condemning the incident of attacks on dalits in Pendurthi of Visakhapathnam district, our leader had directed the cadre to look into their grievances while TDP leaders have carried out the attack brazenly and have been trying to shield the culprits which shows the difference,’ he said.

The remarks on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stems out of the fear and hopelessness after seeing the huge following to our leader’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra as he is being received very well throughout the Padayatra which has become an eyesore to the TDP, he said.

The three letters YSR had spelt development and welfare and the name Jagan will evoke the same response and he will be walking in his father’s footsteps balancing welfare and development. The heckling of the TDP ministers paints them as quixotic reactionaries, he said.

There is no need to pass snide remarks on our leader’s birthday as Chandrababu Naidu and German fascist Adolf Hitler share the same birth date and month, he said.

A Party which uses money to buy MLAs has no right to speak about moral values and democratic norms, he said.
