TDP rattled after Jagan met Modi

Hyderabad, May 11: YSR Congress has said that the meeting of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy with Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent shock waves in TDP camp as the corruption of Chandrababu Naidu has been exposed in the national capital.
‘The remarks of TDP leaders stem out of the fear that the Prime Minister has been apprised of the various charges of Chandrababu Naidu and they are going berserk unable to digest the Delhi meeting,’ party MLA RK Roja told reporters here on Thursday.
The remark of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy that the election of the top post of President and Vice President should be unanimous has rattled the TDP and the party leaders have been resorting to allegations against our leader as they have no guts to comment on the Prime Minister giving an appointment to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, she said.
Ever since the cash for vote scam has come out, Chandrababu Naidu has been running for cover as he vacated the city in a hurry to take refuge in the river-front villa and moved the administration lock, stock and barrel to Amaravti to save his skin.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the other hand has been raising public issues and fighting for their cause while TDP leaders and a section of media which was averse to the Delhi meeting have been spreading canards which will not go well in the public eye, she said.
The allegation that our leader has gone to get the cases against him quashed would cut no ice as it is the judiciary that has to decide on the cases and the governance should be looked after the elected representatives. When Chandrababu Naidu failed to live up to the expectations of the people and keep up the poll promises, as a responsible opposition we will be raising the issues, she said.
‘If we extend support to Presidential candidate nominated by BJP it need not be looked at from the political point of view. We have expressed our opinion that it is better if there is no contest,’ she said adding that TDP leaders are leveling allegations as they are scarred of Jagan.
