TDP Legislator Assaults YSRCP MLA

Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Reddy Subramanyam allegedly attacked YSR Congress Party MLA Jaggi Reddy at Zilla Perishad meeting in East Godavari.  

The TDP leader threw name plate and water bottle on Reddy when the latter raised the issue of sand mafia. The YSR Congress leader alleged that TDP leaders were exploiting sand reaches by smuggling to Visakhapatnam without paying royalty to the government. 

The YSR Congress Party strongly condemned the attack on its  party legislator and said that safety and security of the opposition leaders were at stake. The party demanded action against the TDP leader.
