TDP allegations false: YSRCP

Hyderabad, Aug 10, 2014: Taking strong objection to the allegations of
a TDP Minister on loan waiver, YSR Congress has said that the TDP Government is
only trying to sidetrack the main issue and dared the State to order an inquiry
to prove the charges.

“In a bid to sidestep the waiver of loans, TDP Government has
been resorting to counterattack on the main opposition party and we demand the
State to order a probe by any agency into the allegations levelled against YS Jagan
Mohan Reddy that he has been giving false reports on the issue,” party senior
leader Parthasarathi told reporters here on Sunday.

As the TDP government is unable to keep up its poll promise,
more so, the first file Chandrababu Naidu signed as after assuming office, it
is taking the offensive path by levelling baseless allegations that our Party
President has been giving false reports on the loan waiver issue.

“We challenge the TDP to order for an inquiry and if proved
wrong the state irrigation minister Devinenei Umamaheshwara Rao, who levelled
the charges should quit,” he said adding that such tactics will not go well
with the people.

Rescheduling of loans is not an equivalent measure to waiver of
loans and the first file Chandrababu Naidu has signed was that of waiving all
agriculture and DWACRA loans. Our Party has been raising objection to this and
the TDP leaders are distorting our contention and are interpreting it to suit
their escapism from the election promise.

TDP is trying to cover up its inefficiency in the cover of RBI
guidelines and why is Chandrababu Naidu not mounting pressure on the Centre to
bail him out in fulfilling the poll promise and save the farmers, he asked.

He also condemned the act of “Chandra dandu” trying to burn the
effigies of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Ananthapur district and asserted that
questioning the TDP government to waive the loans is not wrong or undemocratic.
