Hyderabad: YSRCP's official spokesman Ambati Rambabu complained that Chandrababu had taken purity out of Krishna pushkarams and exploited them for his publicity. He commented that Chandrababu had harassed the pilgrims for 12 days with his speeches. He spoke to the media at the party's central office in Hyderabad.
Chandrababu will pay for his sins
- It is shameless of Babu to claim credit for conducting Krishna pushkarams.
- While pushkarams are actually going on throughout the river banks of Krishna, he made it look like they happened only in Vijayawada.
- TDP contractors and activists swallowed more than half of the Rs.1800 crore funds that are said top be spent on pushkarams through the employment of nomination system.
- Chandrababu is so degraded that the he got the holy pushkar ghats painted with yellow colour. That proves his publicity mania.
- He got many temples in Vijayawada demolished before pushkarams. The statues were stuffed and sealed in jute bags and thrown in municipality vans.
- Chandrababu and Lokesh did sand mafia in the holy river bed of Krishna. They earned crores of rupees from it but caused the death of five innocent students.
- People are being bluffed by the yellow media's reports about pushkarams being held successfully.
- Babu has made Krishna pushkarams impure with his ill-suiting attire and half-hearted rituals.
- He has harassed pilgrims fr 12 days with his situation-irrelevant political speeches.
- It is highly unjust to make pushkar pilgrims promise that efforts would be done so that GDP rate was raised to 12 %.
- It would have been better if Babu promised about not committing corruption any more.
- The media's support to Babu's publicity mania is too shameful.
- Eenadu telecasted that bathing for more than 3 minutes in river water would caue diseases but the water was not allowed to flow well. This caused people to bathe in polluted water.
- Babu stayed in pushkarams patiently, but failed to bother about the farmers in Krishna Delta who were suffering due to drought.
- Chandrababu's activities lacking commitment caused problems to the state. There would have been God's grace if they were just activities. His misdeeds brought problems to the state.
- Crores of rupees were spent on just publicity and more crores were simply swallowed.
- The state is paying for his misdeeds with drought striking it.
