Relay Strikes Throughout The State In Solidarity To Jala Deeksha

Kurnool: Jala Deeksha staged by the leader of
opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan is going on at Kurnool against the
unlawful construction of projects in Telangana and with a view to awaken the
dormant AP Government. YSRCP has organized relay strikes throughout the state
in solidarity to the protest staged by YS Jagan. The party is condemning the
deceptive and negligent attitude of the state Government. They slammed
Chandrababu’s selfish exploitation of the state.

West Godavari: 

YSRCP leaders and activists held a bike rally at Narsapuram in
support of YS Jagan’s Jala Deeksha. The district party president Alla Nani
participated in this agitation. Activists held relay strikes at
Jangareddygudem. Supervised by former MLA Balaraju, relay strikes were held at
mandal headquarters of Polavaram constituency. At Undi constituency, mandal
convenor Ramanaidu led the relay strike. Leaders slammed Chandrababu’s silence
towards Telangana projects.

Krishna District: 

YSRCP leader Sasi Bhushan staged a dharna in front of RDO office
at Gudiwada in support of YS Jagan’s Jala Deeksha. MLA Kodali Nani expressed
solidarity to the strike. At the mandal headquarters of Gannavaram, Bapulapadu
and Vijayawada Rural constituencies, YSRCP leader Ramachandra Reddy led relay
strike. Vangaveeti Radha, the youth wing president of YSRCP, held the relay
strike organized at Alankar centre of Vijayawada. The party leaders and activists
conducted relay strikes at Kaikaluru and Pedana constituencies under the
supervision of Nageswara Rao and Uppala Ram Prasad respectively. YSRCP MLA Uppuleti
Kalpana led protests at Pamarru, Movva and Mamidimukkala. Relay strikes were
held at Mailavaram, Konduru, Reddygudem, Ibrahimpatnam and Avanigadda under the
leadership of former MLA Jogi Ramesh.

Guntur: 

In solidarity to the Jala Deeksha being staged by YS Jagan, relay
strike was held at Chilakaluripeta of Guntur district under the leadership of
district party president Rajasekhar. At mandal headquarters of Acchampet and
Amaravathi constituencies, YSRCP activists held relay strikes. Siva, the YSRCP
coordinator of Tenali and Krishnamurthy at Gurajala constituency held relay strikes.
Gopireddy Srinivasa Reddy held strike at Narasaraopet. Youth wing leader Venkatarami
Reddy supervised the strike in front of collectorate at Macharla. At Repalle,
Venkata Ramana held the relay strike.

Prakasam:

YSRCP leaders held strikes at Kotthapatnam of Prakasam district.
Mandal convenor Kiran Goud supervised strike at Erragondapalem with solidarity
expressed by public representatives. Hanumareddy along with YSRCP leaders and
activists held a dharna in front of RDO office at Markapuram. YSRCP leaders
held dharna in front of MRO office in Peddaraveedu. YSRCP leaders Balaji and
Amrutapani led relay srike at Chirala. Former MLA Subbareddy led the dharna in
front of Tehsildar’s office.

Nellore: 

Relay strike was held at Venkatachalam in support of YS Jagan’s
Jala Deeksha. District president Govardhan Reddy led strikes at various places.
In front of sub-collectorate at Guduru, strikes were conducted by YSRCP leaders
and activists. MLA Pratap Reddy supervised strike at Kavali.

Chittoor: 

Relay strikes were held at Punganuru and Manadapalle in support
of YS Jagan’s Jala Deeksha against Telangana projects. Leaders and activists of
YSRCP held strike in front of mandal parishad at Renigunta. At MRO office of Chandragiri,
YSRCP leader Chandra held a dharna. Activists conducted relay strike at
Gangadhara Nellore constituency.

Ananthapuram: 

District president Sankar Narayana led dharnas at 63 centres of
the district in solidarity to the Jala Deeksha being staged by YS Jagan. He
demanded immediate holding back of the unlawful projects being built by
Telangana. Party leaders conducted relay strikes at Puttaparthi and Kalyana
Durgam. YSRCP leaders Ramesh Reddy, Naveen and Adiseshula organized strikes at
Tadiparthi, Kadiri, Penugonda, Gorantla, Parigi and Hindupuram. Dharna was held
at MLA office of Ananthapuram. YSRCP leaders and activists held raastha rook at
Uravakonda. Under the leadership of former MLA Venkatrami Reddy, relay strike
was held at mandal headquarters in Dharmavaram.

YSR District:

YSRCP leaders and activists held a dharna in front of Tehsildar’s
office at Pulivendula in solidarity to the Jala Deeksha taken up by YS Jagan
against the unlawful project construction by Telanagana. MP Avinash Reddy
extended his support to the strike. MLA Ravindranath led a huge dharna at
Kamalapuram. At Ontimitta and Proddutur, MLA Rachamallu Siva Prasad and YSRC
leader Venugopal held a huge dharna.

Vizianagaram: 

MLA Pushpa Srivani led relay strike at Vizianagaram in support
of YS Jagan’s Jala Deeksha. YSRCP leader Eshwar Rao held dharna in front of MRO
office at Saluru. YSRCP activists held relay hunger strike at Kurupam.

Visakhapatnam:

YSRCP leader Tippala Nagireddy expressed solidarity to YS Jagan’s
Jala Deeksha by organizing relay strike at Gajuwaka. YSRCP leaders Vamsi
Krishna, Prasada Reddy and activists held a dharna in front of MRO office at
Visakhapatnam Rural. Activists held dharna in front of RDO office of Anakapalli
under the leadership of Janaki ramaraju. Umasankar Ganesh held strike in front
of MRO office at Golugonda. Certain leaders and activists also extended support
to the strike.

East Godavari:

YSRCP leaders held strike in front of MRO office at Routlapudi
of East Godavari district in support of YS Jagan’s Jala Deeksha. Suryanarayana
Reddy held relay strike at Anaparthi. Chittibabu led relay strike at Gannavaram.
Muttha Saishar Reddy and certain leaders and activists of YSRCP held strikes in
front of MRO office at Kakinada.
