Prasanna Kumar Reddy refutes resignation

Hyderabad, Refuting the report that has come up in a section of media that he has quit the post of district president, N Prasanna Kumar Reddy has categorically said that he will be with YSR Congress Party.

“There is no truth in the reports that I had sent my resignation letter as President of Nellore district to the Central office. I will be with the Party and work under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy,’ he reporters here on Wednesday.

I was the first MLA to resign after the Party was born and was re-elected to the assembly in the by-election with a thumping majority. I have been taking active part in the Party affairs in the district and the leadership has recognized and appreciated my hard work.

“There is no reason for me to quit and I will be with the Party. I never said at any forum that I will quit the party post,” he said.
