Power Is Never Permanent
02 Dec 2016 12:17 PM
Nellore: Proclaiming that power was permanent to nobody, YSRCP MLA of Nellore Urban constituency, Anil Kumar Yadav suggested that Government officials should work with commitment for the welfare of people, irrespective of the party in power.
The MLA examined the construction work of the divider going on in the city from Gandhi statue centre to VRC. He spoke on this occasion to criticise the officials for looking for excuses to call tenders for installation of bores when people requested for drinking water, while showing interest to do the divider work and commented that the officials were enthusiastic to work for the benefit of contractors and ruling party leaders rather than for the benefit of people.
Anil Kumar Yadav questioned why the 100m divider work was being done through nomination without calling tenders. He requested the district's collector to take a look at the irregularities happening in Nellore Municipal Corporation. YSRCP corporator Devarakonda Ashok, leaders Darla Venkateswaru, Veluru Mahesh, Ranga and Rajagopal participated in the programme.
