Please Save The Withering Crops With Water

Sarvepalli: YSRCP district president and savrepalli MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy gave a memorandum to the district's collector Muthyala Raju, requesting for provision of irrigation water to the rice fields of Manubolu mandal from Kandaleru reservoir and save the crops under cultivation. He mentioned that the crops were at the verge of withering due to lack of irrigation water. He appealed for release of 200 cusecs of water through Pinneru canal.
Kakani remarked that the farmers were facing troubles due to the negligence of irrigation department officials. He slammed them for not caring about repeated pleas from the farmers. Collector Muthyala Raju responded to this on a positive note and promised assistance, he said. The MLA was accompanied by YSRCP mandal president Jayaramireddy, leaders Ramana Kumar Reddy and certain farmers.
