People want this Govt to go, avers Sharmila

Gudur (Nalgonda dt) Feb
18, 2013: The policies of both Congress and TDP Governments have been the
subject of Smt. Y.S. Sharmila’s onslaught during the 70th day of her
Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra on Monday.
Interacting with people
at a Rachchabanda get-together at Gudur village in Miryalagudem Mandalam of
Nalgonda district, Smt. Sharmila has faulted various polices pursued by TDP
regime in the past and being pursued by the present Congress Government. “People
want this Government to go,” she remarked.
While the TDP
Government led by Chandrababu Naidu hiked the LPG price, the present Congress
Government has linked the supply of subsidized LPG to the Aadhar to dilute the
subsidy scheme on cooking gas supply gradually.
Recalling various
welfare schemes implemented by YSR, she said YSR showed concern for women and
always thought that women should not suffer due to Government policies.
“With this view, he
never increased the LPG price despite the Centre’s decision to hike it during
his regime,’ she said, adding that Kiran Kumar Reddy-led Congress Government
has only been following the policies of Chandrababu Naidu and subjecting
people, especially women, to suffering.
Smt. Sharmila said that
while YSR supplied free power to farmers, the present Congress government has
been sending bills in lakhs of rupees even for free power.
