Not Even Interests On Loans Have Been Waived

Madanapalle: Chandrababu had promised during his election campaign that he would waive agricultural loans and DWCRA loans. Not even interest on the loans had been waived in the past 3 years of his rule. MLA Naresh Kumar Reddy confronted councilor Babu Naidu about the status of loan waiver at the Janmabhoomi Gram Sabha held at Subhash Road in the 9th ward of Madanapalle on Wednesday.

When the MLC asked about the status of the loans, women joined their voices and questioned the councilor. Remarking how the promises had remained just nominal, the women stated that not a rupee had been waived from their loans till now.
