No substance in Revanth documents: YSRCP

Hyderabad, April 23,
2013: YSR congress party on Tuesday said the TDP has miserably failed to
respond to the challenge thrown by Smt. Y.S. Sharmila and described the so
called proof unearthed by TPD leader Revant Reddy on Rakshana Steels as the
same old stuff without any substance.

Addressing a press meet
at the party headquarters here, YSRCP spokesman Gattu Ramachandra Rao said there
was nothing new in the documents shown by Revanth to prove that Rakshana Steels
was owned by Smt. Sharmila’s husband Brother Anil Kumar.

“Just because the
addresses of the Brother Anil Kumar’s company and Rakshana Steels originated at
the same apartments complex, how can it be treated as the proof? he asked and
countered: “As TDP leaders CM Ramesh, Sujana Choudary and Nama Nageswara Rao
are in business, can we say that their party chief Chandrababu Naidu has a
share in their businesses?

Asserting that Sharmila
still stands by her challenge, Gattu asked the TDP leaders to show the proof to
say that Brother Anil Kumar had invested in the Rakshana Steels.

Describing TDP chief
Naidu as a politically expired commodity, Gattu asked how the application of
Rakshana Steels for land at Jaggayyapet for a steel pipes factory made after
the death of YSR can be linked to the mining at Bayyaram? “The mining lease was
given to the APMDC and not to the Rakshana Steels.”

He also made fun of the
poser by Revanth Reddy whether YSRCP honorary president Smt. Y.S.Vijayamma is
ready to seek an enquiry by the CBI and asked: “Are you also ready to seek CBI
probe into the various allegations being faced by Naidu?”

“In fact, it was Naidu
who tried to allot the tribal lands to his benamis like Koneru Prasad and
others across the state,” he said, adding Naidu should also write to the CBI
seeking a probe to come clean.
