Naidu owes explanation over no-trust stand

Guntur, Feb 8, 2013: Making
fun of TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu stating that he would introduce no trust
motion against the Government as and when necessary, YSR Congress Party
spokesman Ambati Rambabu said in a sarcastic vein that Naidu sees the necessity
when the Government wouldn’t fall.
Rambabu told reporters
at Guntur on Thursday he was at a loss to comprehend why Naidu wasn’t getting
the idea of introducing the no-trust motion when the Government slipped into
minority. “He is not willing to introduce no-trust motion due to his secret
understanding with the Congress,” Rambabu said. TDP chief owes an explanation to
the people over this, he added.
Taking strong objection
to Naidu’s criticism of YSR Congress Party chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and
quoting from the late NTR’s speeches extensively, Rambabu questioned his
morality in pointing out his fingers at Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“Naidu is garlanding
NTR statues but the same NTR once demanded an explanation from Naidu on how he amassed
wealth which included the Heritage company, several orchards, and hotels,”
Rambabu recalled brandishing the newspapers that contained NTR speeches.
He said NTR once branded
Naidu as the embodiment of corruption and the most corrupt politician in the
country.
Taking umbrage to the
criticism of Dr.YSR by Naidu that the late chief minister had done injustice to
the Krishna Delta, Rambabu said it was just like the devils quoting the
scriptures. “Why were you silent as CM when upstream states were stealing water
illegally?” he asked Chandrababu Naidu.
