Naidu trying to sabotage Jagan’s bail chances: YSRCP

Hyderabad, Sept 17,
2013: Asserting that its party president Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is within
his constitutional right to seek bail as per the suggestion of the Supreme
Court, YSRCP has said TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is unnecessarily raising a
hue and cry over the issue out of fear.

YSR Congress
spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told media persons here today that Naidu has
developed jitters with CBI completing its probe in the case and the
bail chances of Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy improving.

“After the bail chances
of Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy improved, Naidu developed cold feet and came back to
Hyderabad winding up his so called self-pride Yatra,” Rambabu said and added:
“For the last one week, Naidu has been working on a conspiracy to negate the
bail chances with the fear of losing deposits in the next elections if bail is
granted of our party chief.”

“As per the Supreme
Court orders, the deadline for CBI to complete the probe and file the final
charge sheet was over on Sept 9. While this is the fact, Naidu has stooped so
low that he sent his Party MPs’ delegation to Delhi to try to adversely
influence the investigating and other constitutional intuitions for denying
bail to Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy,” Rambabu remarked.

He said TDP is facing a
pitiable condition after it failed to win even a single by-election though
YSRCP chief has been in jail. Describing Naidu’s Yatra as the self-protection
Yatra, Rambabu said Naidu has been secretly trying to sabotage the bail chances
while TDP MPs are openly indulging in the game.

The TDP president has
experienced undue pleasure by comparing the case of Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy to
Nirbhaya case, he said.

Rambabu observed that
Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy has been languishing in jail for the last 16 months even
though he has not committed any crime. “Not even a single charge has yet been
proved against him. In fact, Naidu committed a serious crime by raping the
Telugu society through his open support to the bifurcation.”
