Hyderabad, YSR Congress has said that the involvement of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the cash for vote scam was proved beyond doubt when he told a national television channel that his phone was not tapped.
“Chandrababu Naidu denying that his phone was tapped is ample evidence that he is speaking lies to cover up the issue and he should volunteer for an inquiry,” party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on Sunday.
The issue is not between the Chief Ministers of two states but it is between the law enforcing authorities of Telangana government and Chandrababu Naidu.
During public meetings he has telling at the top of his voice that his phone was tapped by Telangana government in the common capital but in the television interview he said that it was not his phone that was tapped but it was other people’s phone.
Such double speak shows that he is guilty of the crime and should gracefully come forward and volunteer for an inquiry, he said.
