Mekapati undertakes Padayatra for Jagan

Nellore, Sept 27, 2012: Nellore YSR Congress MP Mekapati Rajamohana Reddy began a 20 km long Padayatra today from his residence to the Lord Narasimha Swamy temple at Vedagiri seeking bail to party President Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy.

Launching his Yatra, Mekapati told newspersons that Jagan would get justice in the Supreme Court which is hearing his bail plea on Sept 28. “People fondly believe that justice would be done to Jagan,” he said, adding that Jagan was jailed because of the conspiracy between Congress and TDP.  

Party MLAs Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy, Mekapati Chandrasekhara Reddy, party district convener Kakani Govardhan Reddy and party Central Governing Council member Gopala Reddy also accompanied Rajamohana Reddy during the Yatra.

Hundreds of supporters of Rajamohana Reddy and other leaders also participated in the Yatra raising slogans in favour of Jagan.
On reaching the Vedagiri Hills, Mekapati and others will offer speical prayers seeking the blessings of the Almitghty for the release of Jagan.
