Jalagam Venkata Rao to join YSRCP

Hyderabad, Oct 11, 2012: Congress leader Jalagam
Venkata Rao, son of the late chief minister Jalagam Vengala Rao, announced here
today he would soon join the YSR Congress party.

Venkata Rao, who won from the Sattupalli
assembly constituency in 2004, visited the Chanchalguda jail and met YSRCP
president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and informed him of his decision to join the
party.

Venkata Rao said he has close relations with the
YSR family and met Jagan to boost up his morale. “I will soon join the YSRCP,”
he said, adding he has decided to stand by Jagan in his difficult times.

He alleged both Congress and TDP have conspired
together to harass Jagan and his family members.
