Jagan will better your lives: Sharmila

Penjerla (Mahabubnagar
dt) Dec 11, 2012: Charging that Kiran Kumar Reddy Government has gone astray
and the administration haywire, Smt. Sharmila has said that the lives of people
would be bettered only if YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy becomes the
Chief Minister.
Addressing an impromptu
public meeting at Penjarla village in Kotturu Mandalam of Mahabubnagar district
on Tuesday, she said the Chief Minister and Ministers were busy trying to
protect their chairs instead of attending to people’s problems.
“They are not showing
the same enthusiasm in solving the people’s problems as they show in protecting
their chairs,” she said, adding opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu has also
been busy protecting the anti-people Kiran Kumar Government.
While the parents are
unable to pay the fees of their children, the Government has been making nominal
payments under the fee reimbursement scheme as if it is giving alms to them,
that too under the pressure of the agitations, Smt. Sharmila remarked.
People taught a fitting
lesson to TDP in the two-successive elections as Chandrababu Naidu followed the
same policy during his 9-year rule. “Naidu had the distinction of sending
people to jail when they couldn’t pay their power bills,” she charged. “The
anti-people rulers should be driven away in the coming days,” Smt. Sharmila
told them.
Jagan
sure to become CM
Smt. Sharmila said Sri
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will surely become the CM with the blessings of the
people in the next elections and stand by his promises. “Besides giving
interest-free loans to women for their economic empowerment, all eligible
people will get pensions. Children of poor families will also get a monthly
amount of Rs.500 towards their educational expenses,” she said.
She also participated
in a Rachchabanda programme in the village before resuming her Padayatra for
the day.
