Saluru: YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy lambasted Chandrababu for his unpreparedness to tackle cyclone Titli despite warning before the calamity. In Chandrababu's Srikakulam visit, the victims demanded relief measures and electricity supply, he observed.
"Chandrababu wrote to the Union Home Minister that only Rs 926 crore was spent on Hudhud cyclone relief. Of that, Rs 550 crores were provided by the Centre, while the overall loss due to the cyclone was Rs 65,000 crores," he added.
He also said that he would tour the cyclone-hit areas in a week's time for 50 days. The YSRCP would give the 3,400 crore loss caused by the cyclone after coming to power, he added.
The YSRCP Chief explained to the gathering the benefits of various schemes under the party manifesto, Navaratnas.
