I demand unconditional withdrawal of cases on the youth: YS Jagan to Babu

Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy lambasted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for the inhumane act of torturing Muslim youth who had demanded for the fulfilment of the 2014 elections promises during the ‘Nara Hamara TDP Hamara’ meeting in Guntur. In his latest tweet, he demanded for Chandrababu's apology along with the withdrawal of cases laid on the youth.

"Didn't you invite the Muslims across the State to attend your meeting in Guntur? Why did the police torture the Muslim youth who had demanded for fulfilling of your poll promises, in democratic spirit, by holding placards? What was their mistake? Is it wrong to remind your election promise of setting up of Urdu medium schools? Is it wrong to demand for your election promise of providing bus passes and school uniforms to the students who are studying in Madarsas? Unlike any other government in independent India, Muslims have not been included in the cabinet. Is it wrong to point it out? The police tortured the youth for about 30 hours. Is it fair to arrest, torture, and book them under cases? Is there any scope for human rights in this State? I demand for unconditional withdrawal of cases on the youth, and an apology from you," he said to Chandrababu.
