Guntur: The Andhra Pradesh government diluted the recent agitation taken up by the victims of the Agrigold scandal, YSR Congress Party state secretary Lella Appi Reddy remarked. Speaking to media here, he said, "The YSRCP constituted a delegation to support the cause of AgriGold victims. An 11 member committee was formed to safeguard the interests and address the issues of the victims in the last years. Top leaders of YSRCP will convene a meeting with the Agrigold victims in Vijayawada on June 9."
The YSRCP leader said the meeting will formulate an action plan to resolve the issue of the victims. The party will unite all the victims from 13 districts of the state in the meeting, he said. "The government should immediately release Rs 1,100 crores of relief fund for the Agrigold victims," he added.
