Dwarampudi quits Cong, joins YSR Congress

Kakinada, Jan 13, 2013: Kakinada Urban Congress
MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy has resigned from the Congress and joined
the YSR Congress here on Sunday. 

Along with him, scores of former
Congress councilors and corporators have also joined the YSR Congress. 

Chandrasekhar Reddy later told
reporters he quit the Congress unable to bear the harassment being meted out to
the family of Dr. YSR. “For the last thee days, I have discussed the issue with
my followers and decided to stand by the YSR family and the party president Sri
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy,” he said, adding the Government has also diluted the welfare schemes introduced by YSR.

YSR Congress East Godavari
district convener K.Chittibbai, party Central Governing Council member Jyothula
Nehru, MLA Pilli Subhashchandra Bose and other leaders welcomed them into the
party.
