Conspiracy against Jagan will fall flat

Hyderabad, Nov 27, 2012: CBI, which has arrested
people’s leader and YSR Congress Party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy six months
ago in the quid-pro-quo investments case, is still behaving with arrogance as
if it can keep him in jail for some more time.

CBI, which arrested
Jagan Mohan Reddy on the pretext that he might influence the witnesses in the
case, has however kept out the ministers who were responsible for issuing the
GOs which the investigating agency said facilitated quid-pro-quo investments
into companies owned by Jagan Mohan Reddy.

When the Government
said the GOs were correct and the Ministers didn’t indulge in misuse of power,
one fails to understand as to how a case was foisted on Jagan Mohan Reddy who
never enjoyed power.  How can he
influence the witnesses when he came out of the Congress party and has been
fighting it?

Case of victimization

Is it a case related to
the 26 GOs issued by the Ministers or related to victimization of Jaganmohan
reddy for successfully launching a news paper and some industries besides a
political party which stole the hearts of people?

Will it not lead to
loss of confidence of the people in the democracy for keeping Jagan Mohan Reddy
in jail as a result of the conspiracy between Congress and TDP which do not
want to see the growth of a third political force in the state?

People, who are
reposing their confidence in YSR Congress and the leadership of its president
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, are able to see through the game being played by CBI all these days.

CBI, which submitted
the probe report in three weeks  to High
Court, has been keeping Jagan Mohan Reddy in jail for the last six months in
the name of investigation after the state apex court issued orders 16 months
ago. When it had collected all the information, why is it prolonging the case
for so many months? Going by CBI’s stance in obstructing bail to Jagan Mohan
Reddy even after six months of his arrest, what do you call it other than a
conspiracy? Has the state ever witnessed a political conspiracy greater than
this?

Why does the CBI want
to keep Jagan Mohan Reddy in jail when it failed to get any evidence in the
case even 16 months after registering the case and 6 months after his arrest? It
became clear that CBI has been implementing a political agenda on behalf of
Congress and TDP.

Influencing
the witnesses

When it comes to
influencing the witnesses, who should be probed and punished? Is it not CBI
officials who should be punished for joining hands with the Yellow Media for
planting stories? CBI is just acting on the instructions of Congress and TDP
bosses and not according to the IPC or Cr PC in the case.

After filing four
charge sheets, CBI is not opposing bail to most of the accused who can
influence witnesses but opposing bail to a few accused who are not in a
position to influence the witnesses. This makes clear that CBI is acting
deliberately and that the case is the result of a conspiracy.

CBI has become a tool
in the hands of Congress and TDP which can’t face YSRCP and its leader Jagan
Mohan Reddy. To satisfy them, CBI is also resorting to misuse of its powers.
While CBI counsel told the Supreme Court that the probe would be completed in
three months, CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana announced in Hyderabad there was no deadline
for them to file the final charge sheet.

People are watching
this arrogance of CBI and the political conspiracy behind the arrest of Jagan
Mohan Reddy. The day is not far off when the conspiracy is put to an end lock,
stock and barrel.
