Chandrababu lacks the commitment to get SCS for AP: Vijay Sai Reddy

The YSR Congress intensified the demand for special status (SCS) on Thursday with all the district units of the party conducting protests at their respective collectorates.
Speaking at the dharna camp near Anantapur collectorate YSRCP MP Vijaysai Reddy said the CM's capital city plans spoiled the opportunity of SCS for Andhra Pradesh. "Chandrababu lacks the commitment to get SCS for AP. Other states which were granted SCS are doing well in terms of economy and employment," he said. He was joined by YSRCP leaders Ananth Venkataramireddy and Shankar Narayana.
Meanwhile, in Kadapa, YSRCP cadre from 10 constituencies converged at the district judge office to stage the protest for SCS. They were joined by YSRCP leaders Srikanth Reddy, Ravindranath Reddy, MP Avinash Reddy, Suresh Babu, Amjad Basha, and Rachamallu Prasad Reddy among others. They said that the CM watered down the issue of SCS and reached a compromise with the Central government.
