The recent incidents with regard to security arrangements made to YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his visit to various places in Andhra Pradesh has shown how the TDP government was serious on the safety of the main opposition leader.
Though YS Jagan deserved to avail all facilities as per the protocol, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's government was indifferent towards providing security measures to the main opposition leader.
The bullet proof car arranged for YS Jagan to travel from Gannavaram airport to Guntur was ill equipped. The car was not in a perfect condition including air condition in the vehicle is not functioning . When the party lodged a serious complaint, Protocol officials replaced the vehicle with another one.
In the return journey, technical trouble was developed in the vehicle at Mangalagiri. Suddenly, tyres were also punctured. As there no option, YS Jagan got the help of his party men and reached the airport.
Earlier also, the vehicle allotted to YSR Congress Party chief created many problems during his travel. The vehicle was stopped suddenly on Kurnool - Hyderabad highway due to technical problems.
YSR Congress leaders alleged Chandrababu government was deliberately alloting vehicles with poor condition violating protocol rules.
