Vijayawada : AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu deserves a Nandi Award for enacting a drama in the state Assembly and misleading the people on the prestigious Polavaram project, senior YSRCP leader K Parthasarathy said.
Addressing the media here on Thursday, he referred to Chandrababu's statement in the state Assembly and asked why the TDP government continuing in the NDA coalition if the central government is not assisting in the project. "Why is the CM not placing facts about the project before the people? Where is transparency in the government," he questioned.
The concerns of the farmers are being continuously ignored by the state government, he said. "They are being provided with poor quality seeds, no waiver of loans and when they protest, the state government crushes their agitations. They cannot approach the authorities for redressal of their grievances," Parthasarathy said.
