Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party MLA Chirla Jaggireddy on Thursday alleged that five workers were killed at aqua food processing unit in West Godavari district only due to the negligence of the State government. He wondered as to why the government had not initiated any measures or action in the case.
"Such mishaps are taking place only because of the TDP leaders in the government who blatantly give away permissions for gaining commissions from the factories," the YSRCP MLA alleged.
When 29 pilgrims were killed during Godavari pushkaralu, not even a single chargesheet was filed so far after the incident, he said. The YSRCP MLA urged people to assess the TDP government'r rule from the past two and half years. He said when the opposition party - YSRCP is disclosing facts and evidences, the Chandrababu Naidu government is in no mood to listen to the YSRCP.
Jaggireddy further demanded that the State government should own the responsibility for the death of five workers at aqua food park in Mogalthuru in West Godavari district.
