Hyderabad, December 28:
Congratulating Arvind Kejriwal, who rewrote the political course of the
national capital by taking over the reins of Delhi, YSR Congress has said that
there is every need for his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to stretch its fight against
corruption and Congress on a national scale.
“We congratulate Arvind
Kejrewal for being the common man Chief Minister of Delhi who has shown to the
world that Parliamentary democracy can pull down corrupt edifices and how,
Congress which is in swirl of scams, could be demolished by people’s
power,” party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on Saturday.
It is high time to weed out
the corruption and the AAP should take up a nation-wide campaign on corruption.
AAP should extend its battle nation-wide to eradicate corrupt leaders like
Naidu, he said and wished the new star on the Delhi horizon all success.
Chandrababu Naidu has been
speaking as if he is the mentor of Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal, but in
reality he is the fountainhead of corruption. While he was chief minister his
nepotism was well known and the trade activity he has been carrying out with
family members is no secret and Tehalka has ripped open his shady deals, he
said.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was a
victim of circumstances and had to enter politics due to some forced reasons.
He was never in politics nor was he in power. Some vested interests tried to
implicate him in false cases and foisted baseless charges, he said.
