Ambati seeks arrest of CM, Botcha

Hyderabad, April 15, 2013: Accusing the Chief Minister Kiran
Kumar Reddy of trying to influence the courts, CBI and witnesses in YSRCP chief
Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy case to prolong his judicial remand, YSR Congress
Party spokesman Ambati Rambabu on Monday demanded the arrest of the CM, PCC
chief Botcha Satyanarayana and other ministers who are issuing different
statements at their will and pleasure.

Addressing
a press meet at the party headquarters here on Monday, Rambabu said people are
hanging their heads in shame over the ministers’ statements that they had
signed all GOs at the instance of the late CM YSR and they were not at all at
fault.

On the
other hand, the accused ministers have revealed that the GOs were the result of
the collective decisions of the Cabinet, he said, adding these different
statements were aimed at keeping Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy in jail for longer
period.

 Rambabu
asked the Congress leadership to explain the different stands taken by the
accused ministers and the rest of the Cabinet members on the question of 26
GOs.

 The
different statements are only aimed at making the other five ministers involved
in the 26 GOs case further scapegoats in order to prolong the judicial remand
of Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy, Rambabu charged.

Already
Mopidevi Venkataramana was made a scapegoat in order to send Sri Jagan Mohan
Reddy to jail and now just to prolong his judicial remand, Kiran Kumar Reddy,
Botcha and some other ministers are trying to influence the CBI, courts and
witnesses in the case through their different statements.

 Condemning
the abusive and vitriolic rhetoric of Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy
and the endorsement of his remarks by PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana, he said
Anam’s statement was faulted even by his own brother.
