Rythu Bharosa Centres By Kharif Season
13 Feb 2020 7:35 PM

Amaravati: Rythu Bharosa centres should be started in the state by the kharif season this year and each centre would cater to the needs of 2,000 farmers, said Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy while addressing the collectors and SPs in the Spandana programme here on Tuesday.
He said e-cropping has to be implemented without fail to bring about a drastic change in the rural economy. He directed the officials to identify the locations for setting up the centres.
If a farmer commits suicide anywhere, the Collector has to immediately look into the matter and arrange compensation. He said compensation has to be cleared to the 422 familes of the farmers by February24, who had committed suicide between 2014 and 2019, when YSRCP was not in power.
The local representatives have to personally approach the families to hand over the compensation, he said.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to see that Nadu-Nedu programme is being implemented properly in schools. Officials have to personally visit the villages to oversee the implementation of the programme, he said.
Officials should ensure that the parents committees visit the schools regularly. Quality should be maintained in the Mid-Day Meal programme, he said.
