Visakhapatnam, Nov 5: Strongly criticizing the coalition government for its indifference and inefficiency in handling calamities and governance, YSRCP has said farmers and all sections of people are in distress.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Opposition leader in the Legislative Council, Botsa Satyanarayana said, the government has totally failed in handling the relief for cyclone-affected farmers and the manner in which the enumeration was shoddy.
The questions raised by our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are relevant and Chandrababu has to be blamed for not paying the crop insurance and not paying the input subsidy.
Chandrababu's remarks on the Kasibugga stampede are highly deplorable and he has learnt no lessons from the previous incidents of stampede.
He stating that the temple is private property only shows his indifference towards humanity. His governance, along with the attitude of his cadre, is irresponsible, he stated.
The government failed to protect the interests of farmers, and when YS Jagan Mohan Reddy went to express solidarity with farmers, Chandrababu and his media started false propaganda.
How can the government be so indifferent towards the Kasibugga incident, and it did not learn any lessons from the Tirupati and Simhachalam incidents, he said.
