YSRCP Highlights Plight of Dalits During Naidu's Rule

Faced Attacks, Atrocities, Brutality, and Evictions

MLA Hafiz Khan: CM Jagan Declares an End to Medical Debt, Through Arogyashri Scheme, Providing Rs 25 Lakh into Healthcare Services

In a vibrant show of strength on the 42nd day of Samajika Sadhikara bus yatra by the YSRCP, a grand gathering unfolded at two pivotal locations – the Rajanagaram constituency in East Godavari district and Uravakonda constituency in Anantapur district. This event not only highlighted the remarkable milestones achieved but also underscored the strides made in delivering justice to the BC, SC, ST, and Minorities communities under the YSRCP government. The yatras transformed into a jubilant celebration of empowerment and inclusivity, marking a significant chapter in the party's ongoing journey

In a fervent address to a large gathering in Rajanagaram, Minister Murugu Nagarjuna criticized Chandrababu Naidu for obstructing social justice for marginalized communities. Nagarjuna remarked, "Under Chandrababu's rule, social progress came to a halt. Dalits faced attacks, atrocities, brutality, and evictions. Chandrababu openly questioned the desirability of being born a Dalit, and threatened to cut off the tails of BCs. He even asserted in a letter that BCs weren't fit to be judges. Since Jagananna assumed the role of CM, marginalized communities now live courageously with pride in their hearts."

He further added, “Back in 2014, three parties joined forces, making over 600 promises that remained unfulfilled. Now, Pawan Kalyan, who once criticized Naidu, is aligning with him again. It falls upon the shoulders of the SC, ST, BC, and Minority communities to impart a resounding lesson to all of them once again."

Minister Jogi Ramesh emphasised the significant strides made in uplifting marginalized communities, stating, "Among the 25 ministers in the cabinet, 17 are dedicated to BC, SC, ST, and minorities. Out of the 9 Rajya Sabha seats, 4 have been allocated to BCs. Recognition and honors have been bestowed upon MLCs, Ministers, and the Chairman. Contrastingly, even if Chandrababu's gathering in Tiruvuru spent crores, it would have minimal impact on the people. Our trust is on CM Jagan, who staunchly stands with the poor.”

During a gathering in Uravakonda constituency in Anantapur district, Lok Sabha MP Talari Rangaiah said, "Consider CM Jagan as the elder sibling to our handloom weavers. He generously allocates Rs 24,000 annually, showing a deep understanding of their challenges. The direct and transparent distribution to beneficiaries is free from any discrimination or corruption."

MLA Hafiz Khan highlighted the transformative strides catalyzed by the YSRCP government, stating, "In Chandrababu's era, education and health expenses pushed the poor into debt. Contrastingly, under CM Jagan's leadership, the weight of children's education no longer burdens parents. Jagan pledged to ensure every child has the opportunity to study, regardless of financial constraints."

Expanding on the healthcare front, Khan noted, "The days of indebting oneself for medical treatment are behind us. Through the Arogyashri scheme, Jagananna has provided Rs 25 lakhs into medical services. CM Jagan's relentless efforts are steering the state towards welfare and development. Present happiness extends beyond individuals; it secures a promising future for their children. His visionary schemes reflect a commitment to the well-being and foresighted development of the state."
