YSRCP condemns media trial in liquor case

Tadepalli, May 5: YSRCP has said that the coalition government is working in tandem with the police and its friendly media targeting YSRCP leadership and officials in the liquor scam doling out false and baseless stories to serve political and personal interests. 
Speaking to media here on Sunday, party legal cell president M Manohar Reddy said, a media trial is going by dragging the names of YSRCP leaders and officials and we will explore legal options against the investigative agencies and media houses for carrying out such an exercise aimed at maligning the image of our leadership. 
They have been doling out stories on what Raj Kasireddy had purportedly told the agencies and are carrying out a campaign against our senior leaders and officials. 
The bail issue of PV Mithun Reddy was also blown out of proportion and the counter in the apex court shows the double standards of the coalition government. 
We will explore legal options against the investigative agencies and the media that is carrying out false and baseless stories in the name of liquor scam, he said.
