YSRCP condemns Chandrababu’s coalition government for one year of misrule

Tadepalli, June 12: YSRCP has unveiled a scathing critique of the Chandrababu Naidu-led coalition government, marking one year of what it calls a "betrayal of Andhra Pradesh’s five crore people." Speaking to media at Party Central office here on Thursday, YSRCP State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, alongside senior leaders, released a book documenting the coalition’s failures, accusing it of plunging the state into "dark days" through broken promises, oppressive governance, and systemic destruction.
“Chandrababu’s rule stands for deceit, while Y.S. Jagan’s legacy represents trust,” Reddy said, contrasting the current administration with the YSRCP’s 2019-2024 governance, which he said laid the foundation for a golden future.
The YSRCP’s book details a year of alleged misrule, from stifling dissent with a “Red Book Constitution” to filing false cases through police misuse, fostering corruption, and dismantling the progress achieved under Y.S. Jagan’s leadership.
He highlighted that Jagan’s tenure delivered 1.3 lakh government jobs, 17 new medical colleges, four ports, and systemic reforms in five years—achievements unmatched in the state’s history.
In contrast, he accused the coalition of failing to fulfill a single election promise, leading to statewide protests on June 4, 2025, dubbed the “Day of Betrayal.”
“This government has turned democracy into chaos and progress into ruin,” Reddy stated, emphasizing the book’s role as a mirror to the coalition’s destructive policies.

Reddy announced that the book, backed by evidence and photographs, will be accessible to the public across district, constituency, and mandal centers, with a QR code for online downloads. He urged citizens to read it, awaken to the truth, and hold the government accountable. “The people of Andhra Pradesh must question this administration’s failures and demand the fulfillment of its promises,” he asserted.
The event saw participation of prominent leaders, including former ministers Ambati Rambabu and Vidala Rajini, MLA Tatiparthi Chandrasekhar, MLCs Lella Appi Reddy, Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy, Varudu Kalyani, Murugudu Hanumantha Rao, M. Arun Kumar, and others, underscoring the party’s unified resolve to expose the coalition’s misgovernance.
