YSRCP slams coalition’s failure during first year

Hyderabad, June 15: YSRCP has slammed the coalition government for its poor performance during its first year, failing to implement its much touted Super Six promises with gross financial indiscipline but amplifying its publicity machinery creating more sound and no substance
Speaking to media here on Sunday, former Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said, the people feel cheated as none of the promised schemes are reaching them in contrast to the welfare calendar of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy where there was clarity on the amount and date of scheme to every beneficiary.
The coalition government performance can be gauged by the anger of all sections of people from women, to farmers to youth and traders as they are in confusion as to when the Super Six will come as they have no clarity.
Before elections, people had expectations and after polls they are now scared with the words and deeds of Chandrababu Naidu, he said and detailed as to how each of the Super Six schemes were either diluted, done away with or dissolved into some abstract form.
Talliki Vandanam scheme under which Chandrababu Naidu had promised to extend all children of the family has been so diluted that the number of beneficiaries has come down from 84 lakh, when YSRCP was giving to only one child, to 58 lakhs now which shows the fudging of figures.
The Mahashakti scheme, which covers all welfare schemes to women from free bus, to pensions to free cylinders made no impact as Deepam has been flickering with only one cylinder being provided, bus service being a non-starter even after one year, Adabidda Nidhi being merged with PPP which is so incoherent and women are unable to understand the concept itself which is ill-defined.Annadata Sukhibhava is a non-starter.
We being in the opposition question on behalf of the people and the Chief Minister gets irritated and passes threatening remarks and if a chart of promises versus performance is drawn, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s terms stands out and the coalition Super Six has proved to be a duck out in the first ball itself, he said and read out the list of welfare schemes calendar which was strictly followed by YSRCP despite Covid.
On the finance front, though the budget was the same for both the governments, how the present government has failed to implement welfare schemes and it has no reason to celebrate the vijayotsavam as all sections of people, including employees, are unhappy and scared as they have no new demands but were asking for stipend, women pension, free bus, Deepam, and others as promised,
The coalition government has taken more loans but not accounted for and has mortgaged state minerals for Rs 9,000 and has allowed private party access to government treasury which is unprecedented.
Summing up the one year term of the Chandrababu government is that of broken promises, harassing everyone those who question and publicity burst for self-promotion.
