YS Jagan to submit one crore signatures to Governor against medical college privatization on Dec 18

Tadepalli, Dec 16: As part of the YSR Congress Party’s state-wide movement opposing the privatization of government medical colleges, party President and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will meet the Governor on December 18 at 4:00 PM to submit petitions carrying over one crore signatures. Accompanied by senior party leaders, MPs, MLAs and MLCs, he will formally present the signatures collected from across all districts, reflecting widespread public opposition to the government’s decision.
Earlier in the day, at 10:00 AM, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will flag off vehicles carrying the signature petitions from the YSRCP Central Office in Tadepalli to the Governor’s residence, Raj Bhavan (Lok Bhavan). Party MLAs, MLCs, constituency coordinators, regional coordinators, district presidents and senior leaders will participate in the programme. Following this, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will hold a meeting with party legislators and senior leaders at the Central Office and thereafter proceed to Lok Bhavan to meet the Governor. Vehicles carrying the signature petitions from all districts have already reached the party headquarters, marking the culmination of the one-crore signature public movement.
