*YS Jagan calls for full-scale preparedness for Local Body Polls*

Tadepalli, July 23: Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy directed party leaders to treat the forthcoming local body elections as a top priority and begin preparations immediately to ensure the party contests and wins every seat. Chairing a review meeting with key leaders from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district at the YSRCP Central Office in Tadepalli, he reviewed the organisational strength, constituency-level preparedness, committee formation, grassroots issues and future action plan with coordinators and observers from all seven Assembly segments under the Amalapuram Parliamentary constituency.

Y.S. Jagan instructed the leadership to further strengthen the party at the grassroots and intensify organisational activity from the village level. He announced that party committee identity cards will be distributed from August 15, following completion of the verification process. Over the next four months, constituency coordinators will undertake extensive village and ward-level tours, conduct meetings across every village, distribute identity cards to committee members and actively raise public issues.

He directed leaders to ensure vibrant and dedicated committees, effectively utilise the party’s affiliated wings and maintain close coordination with constituency observers. Village meetings should focus on strengthening the organisation, addressing local issues and taking the party’s message directly to the people.

Y.S. Jagan also instructed leaders to remain vigilant during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls by closely monitoring the draft voter lists and ensuring all eligible voters are included through Form-6, objections to ineligible names are filed through Form-7, and corrections are made using Form-8.

Stating that people across the State are facing growing hardships, Y.S. Jagan called upon the party cadre to intensify the fight for public causes, remain accessible to the people, stand by those in distress and strengthen the party’s grassroots connect through sustained public outreach and organisational activity.
