TDP's lame attempt to shift blame on YSRCP backfires 

Tadepalli, May 16: YSRCP condemns the TDP for orchestrating a malicious campaign to falsely implicate YSRCP in the murder of TDP leader Muppavarapu Veerayya Chowdary in Prakasam district. 
Speaking at a press conference, YSRCP General Secretary Jupudi Prabhakar exposed the TDP’s sinister plot to shield the real culprits, its own activists, and deceive the public with fabricated narratives.
Investigations have confirmed that Veerayya Chowdary, a TDP leader and former MPP, was murdered by local TDP activists driven by internal rivalries, factionalism, and power struggles within the party.  YSRCP alleges a calculated conspiracy by the TDP-led coalition government to protect the accused, who are active TDP members with documented ties to Naidu and Lokesh. 
Reports suggest efforts to declare these culprits innocent, betraying Veerayya Chowdary’s family and undermining justice. When Lokesh visited the family on May 15, 2025, TDP activists obstructed him, signaling internal dissent over the cover-up. 
“The TDP is not only betraying the public but also cheating its loyal workers like Veerayya Chowdary, who served the party until his last breath. The TDP resorts to diversionary tactics, falsely blaming YSRCP for its internal crises,” Prabhakar said.
