TDP Leaders Joining BJP At The Behest Of Chandrababu

Senior YSRCP leader and party official representative, C Ramachandrayya

Senior YSRCP leader and party official representative, C Ramachandrayya alleged that the four TDP Rajya Sabha members who were going to be joining the BJP were doing it at the behest TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking at a press meet in Kadapa on Thursday, Ramachandrayya said that its a known fact that Chandrababu had tried every trick in the bag to escape from the Vote-for-Note case.
He said that Chandrababu to cover up for all his misdeeds and corruption he was making them join the BJP. Though he was not seen front ending, he was indirectly controlling the whole scheme of making them join the BJP.

He also advised Prime Minister Narendra Modi to rethink his decision before taking them into the party. He requested Modi to reconsider this in the interest of protecting Democracy and not support these kind of corrupt politicians. It was clear that Chandrababu was trying to protect his community members and that the TDP leaders were joining the party right when he was on a holiday. Ramchandrayya said that this was all staged and timed in such a way that they were joining the party when Chadnrababu was holidaying abroad.

If they were to join the BJP they should resign from their posts, first he suggested. He also advised Prime Minister Modi that encouraging people like Chandrababu was a huge threat to democracy.

At a time when TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is vacationing in Europe, four TDP Rajya Sabha MPs have decided to crossover to BJP. Sujana Chowdary, Garikapati Rammohan Rao, CM Ramesh and TG Venkatesh after their talks with BJP leaders Amit Shah and Narendra Modi have decided to jump on the BJP bandwagon. To this effect, they will be meeting Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday evening urging him to recognise them as a special group with no affiliation to TDP. This leaves TDP with only two MPs in Rajya Sabha and three in Lok Sabha.
