Sake slams Chandrababu claims at Davos

Ananthapur, Jan 21: YSRCP has slammed Chandrababu for his tall claims on getting investments to the State which has been a theatric play time and again and said Visakhapatnam is being sold as a commodity to real estate firms for selfish gains.
Speaking to media here on Wednesday, former minister Sake Sailajanath said the repeated trips to Davos have yielded nothing and this time it would be no different, and the claim of Rs 1 lakh crore investments from a real estate company in Visakhapatnam to create a hyped number of jobs is a mirage.
Visakhapatnam is being treated as a commodity and prime lands are being given away to unproductive companies like real estate firms on a platter. The same companies have purchased land at other places at the actual rate, which shows the contrast, he said and demanded that a detailed report be given on the lands being parted with to companies.
The Partnership Summits organized by Chandrababu Naidu are only an illusion and the number of MoUs signed and the number of jobs to be created exist only on paper and keep repeating year after year, he said, adding that the number of MoUs being publicized by the coalition was never grounded.
During YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s term, the strike rate of MoUs grounded was 91 percent, he said, adding that his monitoring capacity was very effective.
The tall claims of hyperloops and semiconductors are nothing less than a mirage and it has been a continuous process with no outcome at all, he said.
The loan taken during the coalition government has mounted to Rs 3 lakh crore and there is no accountability. The coalition government has no mechanism to pursue the investment proposals as it is not interested in the grounding of projects but only in short-term publicity.
The tall talk of investments and job creation is only a bluff and the remarks at Davos about YS Jagan Mohan Reddy show the shallow nature of the TDP leadership.
