A Promising Camaraderie Blossom As KCR, YS Jagan Meet

As the chief minister-designate of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s cavalcade arrived in Pragati Bhavan, the official residence of Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao waited for Jagan to alight his car and greeted him with a bouquet of flowers. Rao hugged Jagan and congratulated him as Jagan’s wife YS Bharathi looked on. The place radiated bonhomie, hope, and more importantly, the warmth of friendship and cooperation that the two leaders can bring about in the days to come between the two Telugu states.

After calling on Governor ESL Narasimhan to stake claim to the government, YS Jagan met K Chandrashekar Rao along with his wife and party senior leaders Vijayasai Reddy and Mithun Reddy. Along with KCR, TRS working president K T Rama Rao and others walked the YSR Congress Party leaders into the Chief Minister’s residence.

KCR personally introduced his Cabinet Ministers, Mohammed Ali, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Koppula Eshwar, and TRS leader K Keshav Rao to Jagan and to those who accompanied him. The family members of KCR also greeted Jagan and congratulated him on his emphatic victory in Andhra Pradesh. KCR felicitated Jagan with a shawl and presented a memento as others looked on. Jagan later extended his invitation to KCR requesting him to attend his swearing-in as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on May 30 in Vijayawada.

Earlier, Jagan and party leaders met Governor Narsimhan to present him the resolution of YSR Congress Legislative Party endorsing Jagan as chief minister. The Governor then congratulated Jagan and requested him to form the government.

Jagan will take the oath of office at 12:23 PM on May 30 at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Vijayawada amidst party leaders, workers and supporters from across the State.
