Tadepalli, Feb 21: Senior YSRCP leader and former Minister, Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani) filed a complaint with the DGP over a baseless case registered against him following Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visit to Guntur Mirchi Yard on February 19. Perni Nani clarified that he was not present at the event or in Guntur on the said date, terming the allegations as completely false and driven by vested interests aiming to tarnish his reputation.
He emphasized his commitment to public service and described the complaint as a malicious attempt to mislead authorities and the public.
In a formal letter to the DGP, Perni urged a thorough investigation into the matter and demanded action against those responsible for filing the false complaint. He also called for accountability from the officials who registered the baseless case, stressing the importance of safeguarding public trust in law enforcement and the justice system.
