Pawan confuses Redbook with the Constitution

Tadepalli, September 12: YSRCP spokesperson Vangaveeti Narendra strongly condemned Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s remarks on former CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s participation in the Assembly, stating that Pawan must first understand and respect the Constitution written by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. While Pawan claims to have read many books, his political conduct shows confusion, treating the Red Book as if it were the Constitution.
YSRCP clarified that YS Jagan’s politics and decisions are firmly rooted in Ambedkar’s Constitution, unlike the coalition government which functions under a Red Book mindset. Narendra questioned under which Constitution Janasena cadres in Machilipatnam brutally attacked a small trader, Giri, who had only asked about Pawan’s unfulfilled promises. The cadres, led by local leaders, destroyed his shop, assaulted him, and forced him to kneel and record an apology.
Narendra reminded that Pawan once promised justice in cases like Sugali Preethi and pledged to trace 33,000 missing girls, yet has failed to act after coming to power. Instead, his party workers are intimidating ordinary citizens. Meanwhile, YS Jagan, who values the Constitution, sought recognition of Opposition status in the Assembly and even moved the High Court. Pawan should explain why the Speaker’s office has not yet filed the required counter. People clearly see who upholds constitutional values and who tramples them.
