Anantapuram, August 16: Former Minister and Singanamala YSRCP Coordinator Sake Sailajanath sharply criticized Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for obsessively targeting Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy while failing to deliver on promises. Speaking at the YSRCP district office, he critcised Naidu for spreading lies during Independence Day event, neglecting governance for personal attacks. “Chandrababu’s day isn’t complete without mentioning YS Jagan, yet he offers no real progress,” Sailajanath stated.
After 15 months in power, Naidu’s government has amassed Rs. 2 lakh crore in debt, damaging Andhra Pradesh’s image with unfulfilled Super Six schemes. Sailajanath called Naidu’s claim of implementing these promises “shameful,” challenging him to tour Singanamala to prove otherwise.
He stated that TDP rigged the Pulivendula ZPTC polls using official power, undermining democracy. Key failures include the diluted free bus travel scheme, zero funding for Aadabidda Nidhi (needing Rs. 32,000 crore), no unemployment allowances for 20 lakh youth, and inadequate budgets for free gas cylinders (Rs. 4,000 crore required). Sand prices have doubled, benefiting TDP leaders, while over 5 lakh pensions were cut. Farmers face betrayal with scrapped crop insurance and Rs. 10,000 crore withheld under Annadata Sukhibhava.
Naidu gifting state lands to corporates at Re. 1 per acre and inflating Amaravati costs for commissions, wasting borrowed funds. He praised YS Jagan’s welfare legacy, like building medical colleges, now being privatized. “Naidu’s lies and rigging signal his political end,” he warned, urging people to demand accountability.
