Naidu playing dangerous games with Hindu sentiments: SV Satish Kumar Reddy

Vempalle, Nov 14: YSRCP State General Secretary SV Satish Kumar Reddy blasted the coalition government for deliberately diverting attention from the 189-tonne beef seizure in Visakhapatnam by reviving the false “adulterated ghee” narrative around Tirumala. He said the DRI had seized a massive quantity of beef from the cold storage of a close follower of TDP MLA Narendra Varma, meant for export to Arab countries. Unable to explain this scandal, the government and yellow media shifted focus by misusing devotees’ sentiments. He accused Chandrababu Naidu of shamelessly playing with the emotions of crores of Hindus for political gain, adding that since coming to power, the coalition has done nothing except run diversion politics and suppress development.
Satish questioned why self-proclaimed Sanatana Dharma protectors—particularly Pawan Kalyan—were silent about such an unprecedented beef racket. He asked why Pawan, who once washed temple steps over alleged laddu adulteration, is not reacting when tons of beef were found in a TDP leader’s facility. By Pawan’s own logic, he said, Visakhapatnam “should now be purified.” He demanded answers from both Pawan and the BJP, who claim to be defenders of Hindu dharma, for this selective silence. Instead of ordering an inquiry into the beef case, the government and yellow media are publishing false stories about former TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy, based on baseless claims following the SIT questioning of ex-TTD EO Dharma Reddy.
He slammed yellow media for refusing to acknowledge the large-scale statewide public movement led by YSRCP against the privatization of government medical colleges. Thousands of students, youth, intellectuals and civil society groups protested across the state, yet the media ignored it entirely—revealing its loyalty to TDP over the public.
Satish also questioned why Nara Lokesh, who travelled to Bihar to campaign for the NDA, did not campaign for the BJP candidate in the Jubilee Hills by-election in his own hometown. Even BJP MLA Adinarayana Reddy, who lives in Jubilee Hills, avoided campaigning. These leaders only appear in places where they can stage photo-ops, he said, while yellow media glorifies them. Since becoming CM, Chandrababu has not launched a single development initiative; instead, he re-signed MoUs with companies originally brought in by YS Jagan and engaged in credit theft. Schemes implemented under YSRCP have been renamed without proper execution. Farmers received only Rs. 5,000 instead of the promised Rs. 40,000 under Annadata Sukhibhava; crops are not getting fair prices; Jagan’s education and healthcare reforms have been dismantled; fee reimbursement halted; and quality healthcare pushed beyond the reach of the poor.
He accused Naidu of using investment summits as a cover to hand over thousands of crores worth of government lands to dubious companies. If he truly had the capacity to build world-class cities, Satish asked, why did he fail to build Amaravati or attract investments to the capital? Every investment show is merely a commission-driven land-grab. Meanwhile, honest officers are becoming victims of the government’s political vendetta. He expressed deep concern over the suspicious death of former TTD AVSO Satish Kumar, who allegedly could not bear four days of SIT harassment in the Parakamani theft probe. With relatives raising serious doubts, Satish demanded a fair and impartial investigation into the AVSO’s death.
