Kanna has become a mouth-piece of Chandrababu

Amaravati: YSRCP MLAs Ambati Rambabu and Gudivada Amarnath said that BJP leader Kanna Lakshminarayana has become a mouth-piece of Chandrababu.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, MLA Ambati Rambabu said that Kanna Lakshminarayana is a puppet in the hands of Chandrababu Naidu and plays according to the tunes of Naidu. 

He further said that Kanna Lakshminarayana has to prove his sanctity by taking a swear in Vigneswara temple in Kanipakam. 

MLA Rambabu questioned Kanna Lakshminarayana whether his remarks on the purchase of test kits are against the State government is his Party line.

 Despite making a transparent purchase, opposition members are still politicising the issue, where even BJP leader Kanna Lakshminarayana also joined the allegations made by Chandrababu Naidu, forgetting the fact that Union Government itself made a purchase at higher price than the State government." said Ambati Rambabu.

MLA Gudivada Amarnath, in a separate press conference at Vizag, slammed the remarks made by Kanna Lakshminarayana on the purchase of rapid test kits from South Korea and stated that both TDP and BJP leaders are creating uncertainty during this emergency situation. Asserting that the purchase of rapid test kits was done as per the Centre guidelines, Kanna’s tweet is more like questioning the sanctity of his own party members rather than State government.

In fact, the State government purchased each kit of Rs 730 while the Centre purchased for Rs 790. In the purchase agreement, we clearly mentioned in the clause that the difference amount will be deducted from the final payment, in case if the company sells the same kit to a lesser value to any State in the country. Without understanding the clause, Chandrababu Naidu and Kanna Lakshminarayana are making false remarks on the government. It is pathetic to see opposition leaders politicising every issue for boosting their political career, despite having an emergency situation across the State.
