Guntur, June 13: YSRCP has termed the coalition as a failed government as it could not fulfill the promises made during elections and women are cheated on various counts.
Speaking to media here on Saturday, Guntur East constituency in-charge Noori Fathima said, four of the Super Six promises are for women and the coalition government has miserably failed to fulfill them.
Ada Bidda Nidhi did not take off even after two years. Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan went on a door to door campaign telling that every woman in the age group of 18 to 59 will get Rs 1,500 financial assistance monthly and have distributed signed bonds but not a single rupee was paid.
The government owes Rs 36,000 to every woman in that age group in the two years which was not paid and there was no mention of it in Chandrababu’s speech at Tirupati.
The pension scheme to weaker section women was also a non-starter in which Chandrababu has promised to pay Rs 4,000 pension to women of weaker sections and the government owes Rs 96,000 to every woman eligible under the scheme.
Talliki vanadanam money was not disbursed even though schools reopened and the number of beneficiaries was cut down, she said.
Free bus, the other scheme for women has been erratic and has many restrictions, while Deepam scheme under which three LPG cylinders were promised free was totally diluted and only two cylinders are given which shows that the government has failed on its promises.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the other hand has implemented a slew of welfare measures for women from Cheyutha, Aasara, Kapu Nestham besides registering house sites in the name of the woman of the household, she said.
